ATMA: Awareness. Theology. Mysticism. Alignment

  • Multi-faith
  • Affiliation: None
  • 2024 Welcome Letter
  • Description: We are a student-led organization dedicated to fostering a deep and meaningful connection between individuals and the divine, particularly through the lens of devotional spirituality traditions. The word ATMA comes from the Sanskrit word meaning soul. We believe that every spiritual tradition, from Hinduism to Sufism, Buddhism, Christianity, and others offer invaluable insights into the nature of the soul and its connection to the divine. Our club provides a unique platform for spiritual exploration and personal growth. Through our weekly discussions, workshops, and interfaith dialogues, we aim to illuminate these connections and foster a sense of unity among diverse spiritual paths. Whether you are looking to deepen your spiritual practice, explore new theological concepts, or simply find a community of like-minded individuals, ATMA is here to support you. We invite you to join us in our journey of spiritual discovery and growth.
  • If you are interested in our club, we welcome you to join our weekly event – Jigyasa. These sessions happen every Wednesday at 6:30PM at the Graduate Community Center. Named after the Sanskrit word for curiosity, Jigyasa is a space for those eager to learn more about spirituality and engage in open discussion. We will also have music, meditation and a dinner at the end of the session.
