Reflective Practice and Social Change Fellowship
The Reflective Practice and Social Change Fellowship, a Cardinal Quarter opportunity, enables students to contemplate the connections between our inner lives and the actions we take out in the world. Students will explore personal values, beliefs, purpose and meaning in one’s life to better understand motivations to commit to service and social change.
Through reflective practice, readings and discussions students will learn about models from both faith and humanistic traditions that encourage service work and social change as practice of their value systems. Fellows will be supported to find common ground with others across personal values and beliefs; to embrace commonality and difference through careful, thoughtful and respectful dialogue. Individually and in community with each other we will work to articulate and incorporate the Principles of Ethical and Effective Service, reflective practice, and social change within our own work.
